ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This company has a track record for delivering high end projects valued from $5M - $20M. They specialise in the delivery of unique fitout and refurbishment projects in the commercial, hospitality, retail, government, and education sectors. Having an already well-established relationship with several high profile clients, this company is looking for a highly ambitious Junior Estimator or Estimator to help secure new projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, contributing to the successful tendering and securing of projects. With comprehensive guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and development by ensuring the successful acquisition of key projects.
DUTIES.
* Prepare tender submissions
* Cost Planning
* Scope of works preparations
* Bill of Quantities
* Work with the team to plan programming
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating role within the construction space
* Background in commercial fitout projects is preferred
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
