* Position based at Rural and Remote MHS Parkside Campus. Working from regional locations will be considered
* Temporary Full Time up to 31 December 2027 working over 5-day roster
* Salary:
* AHP3 $108,347 - $116,216 p.a + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits
* ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 p.a + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits
* RN/RM3 $125,183 - $130,779 p.a + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Officer to support Rural and Remote Mental Health services across regional South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver high-impact projects that shape mental health service planning, reform and improvement across multiple Local Health Networks, while contributing specialist clinical and/or strategic expertise.

Working closely with senior leaders, clinicians and stakeholders, you will manage complex projects from concept through to evaluation, support integrated service planning, and drive evidence-based, consumer-centred mental health outcomes. The role offers autonomy, professional influence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for rural and remote communities.

* Lead the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of regional mental health projects and service initiatives.
* Provide high-level advice, analysis and reporting to inform service planning, reform and decision-making.
* Engage and collaborate with clinicians, consumers, carers, Aboriginal communities and partner organisations.
* Support continuous improvement through evidence-based practice, evaluation, risk management and innovation.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards. To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake. These are detailed on the Role Description, and do vary depending on what is required in the role, but are likely to include the following:

* You will need to be immunised. The policy on immunisation is very detailed, so please contact the Enquiries Person for this position if you have any queries. Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
* You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
* To be appointed to the RN/RM3 or AHP3 level, you you will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist within our organisation.
