The primary role of the Business Development Consultant is to engage and partner with employers in the region to source and create suitable employment opportunities and to successfully negotiate employment placements for our customers.
Building networks and community relationships, the role is instrumental in the positive promotion of services and in achieving the required individual performance levels in the delivery of contracted employment services, specifically the registration of customers and placements.
Key tasks include:
- Reverse marketing customers to employers and successfully securing sustainable employment
- Effectively negotiate employment opportunities for customers
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders
- Identify, implement and maintain person-centred strategies to attract and retain both customers and employers
- Contribute to the development of the Maxima team, working with the team to achieve KPI's
- Contacting potential employers - over the phone and face to face - to create and build effective relationships
**What will you need?**
- Demonstrated experience in marketing / sales, thriving on meeting and even exceeding key performance indicators, targets and expectations
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the local and wider labour market
- Experience in delivering high levels of customer service in a complex stakeholder environment
- Strong networks in the Community Services sector
- Effective communication and administration skills
- Current driver's licence
