About the role
The Manufacturing Manager roleis a Full-Timeposition, based at Yarraville, Victoria. Reporting to theManager,you will provide people and process leadership to the Gyprock Yarraville Cornice, Plasters & Compounds Production teams.
In this role you will:
* Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
* Lead a team of Production Supervisors and Operators.
* Drive engagement on safety, environment, performance, quality, supply, service, delivery of finished goods and cost.
* Lead, participate and collaborate with the WCM team to implement World Class Manufacturing on site and into our day-to-day activities.
* Demonstrate constructive leadership, building a team of accountable people who can deliver the business goals, whilst role modelling the CSR Behaviours.
* Maintains strong relations with trade unions to support a positive industrial relations environment. Participate, lead and implement site enterprise agreements.
* Setting and managing the overall standards and performance expectations of the site. Responsibilities include but not limited strategic planning, overall cost management, operating structure, and capacity.
What you bring to the role
* Strong Safety awareness
* Attention to detail.
* Experience in leadership or people management.
* Tertiary qualifications in either Engineering, HR or similar related areas.
