 
        
        Teaching Position in Humanities and Social Sciences
Melville Senior High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our Humanities and Social Sciences team. The successful applicant will provide engaging learning experiences for students in Years 7-12, with a thorough knowledge of the Psychology curriculum at ATAR level.
 * The ideal candidate will have experience delivering the HASS curriculum for Years 7-10 and be committed to developing high-quality teaching and learning programs.
As a member of our team, you will contribute to strategies and initiatives to improve student engagement, classroom teaching, and student performance. You will also participate in ongoing professional learning and reflection on teaching practice to enhance student engagement.
This role includes contributing to the development of high-quality teaching and learning programs, as well as participating in school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum
 * Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress
 * Participate in school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes
Requirements:
 * Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
 * Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
 * Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting
 * Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before starting
