We are seeking a Duty Manager to lead our Front Office operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Front Office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and elevated guest service.
* Respond to guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints with confidence and professionalism.
* Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Reservations and all departments to create a cohesive guest journey.
* Act as Chief Warden and first responder during emergencies.
* Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness standards across the property.
* Lead and support team members, representing hotel leadership in the absence of senior managers.
* Make informed decisions that keep operations flowing and guests delighted.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' supervisory or management experience in Front Office in luxury or upper-scale hotel operations.
* Strong leadership presence, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
* Excellent communication and guest service skills.
* Calmness, resilience, and quick-thinking during high-pressure situations.
* Working knowledge of hotel systems and property management software.
* Confidence in emergency response (Chief Warden/First Aid experience highly regarded).
* Able to work a rotating 24/7 roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
