About the Role
The Drug and Alcohol Intake Clinician is responsible for providing a centralised first point of contact, including telephone and face‐to‐face information and referral service for Drug and Alcohol Services within Western NSW Local Health District, for clients seeking assistance with substance use problems.
You will join a multidisciplinary team, working closely with the whole MDT as well as clinicians from Mental Health Drug and Alcohol, several NGOs, other health agencies, and local GP's. The teams within WNSWLHD includes Social Workers, Psychologists, Health Clinician, Nurses, Addiction Medicine Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Clinical Leads.
