Part-Time Design Technology Teacher – Commencing 2026

About the Role
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skills. This part-time role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a supportive Christian school environment and is passionate about integrating faith, learning, and wellbeing into their teaching practice. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on academic growth, spiritual formation, and character development in every student.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, assess, and report on Design Technology units across appropriate year levels.
- Create a positive and productive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Provide appropriate adjustments for students with additional learning needs.
- Integrate technology into teaching to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Support student wellbeing and character development through effective pastoral care and behaviour development practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning, curriculum development, and collaborative planning.

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified and registered teacher (QCT registration or ability to obtain).
- Experience or interest in teaching Design Technology.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to Christian education and a willingness to support the College’s Christian ethos.
