Service Delivery Director Role
This is a leadership position that provides strategic support to Technical Operations Command in business planning, service level agreements, and contractor management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's operations.
The role involves providing leadership and support for all non-technical elements of specialist response service delivery, including business planning, governance, program management, and day-to-day business as usual requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as the Service Delivery Director will need to regularly liaise with various departments, including Procurement and Finance.
Tertiary qualifications in a Business Management discipline are required, as well as extensive experience (at least 10 years) in senior service delivery in medium to large complex organizations. In-depth knowledge and experience in business management, training delivery, and wellness in an emergency services context are also highly valued.
The ideal candidate will be conversant in managing departmental budgets and have a progressive mindset, looking forward to continuous improvement, business assurance, and meeting governance requirements. They will also possess well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to demonstrate professional agility and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
