We are seeking a skilled Materials Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing and manufacturing materials for sonar piezoceramics.
This role involves coordinating activities from weighing raw materials to creating manufactured material within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate equipment, including ball mills, spray dryers, calcine and sintering kilns, and pressing equipment
* Maintain areas to prevent contamination of product
* Undertake routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment effectiveness
* Complete production pack information for traceability
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a materials processing environment
* Experience operating fixed plant and equipment in an industrial setting
* Qualifications in a Mechanical Trade (advantageous but not required)
* Physical fitness and ability to perform work in a scheduled environment
* Comprehension of technical and mechanical issues
* Understanding of manual and chemical handling
