Position for an experienced accounts receivable officer with security clearance, 6-month contract, call Tess
**Your new company**
This large government department is responsible for delivery of services and projects to the Australian Public.
**Your recent role**
The main roles of the position include:
- Processing of refund requests
- Processing of invoice renewals and creation of offices
- Processing of accounts payable invoices for select sections within the department
- Maintain receipting register
- Downloading files and uploading them into departmental software
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Assist the Accounts receivable Team Leader in ad hoc tasks
**What you'll need to succeed**
We are looking for an organised, adaptive and highly motivated persons who work well in a small team.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and adapting positively to change
- Have an understanding of the Accounts Receivable and Payable function
- Ability to review and verify data with attention to detail and
- Have some experience in using SAP
- current AGSVA security clearance will be required for this role
