This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating people, maintaining quality standards, and keeping operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As Processing Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day processing of client items, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with individual client specifications. You will lead a team, manage workflows, monitor quality, and resolve issues to ensure all items are delivered as high-quality, shelf-ready products.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise daily processing activities to meet quality, productivity, and client deadlines.
* Allocate work, set priorities, and manage workflow in a high-volume environment.
* Monitor workloads and adjust plans in response to changing priorities and urgent requests.
* Conduct regular quality checks, including labels, coverings, barcodes, and RFID tags.
* Act as the escalation point for processing issues and implement corrective actions.
* Identify error trends and drive continuous improvement in accuracy and efficiency.
* Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
* Ensure safe work practices and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
