Job Title: Junior Business Analyst
Location: Canberra, ACT (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Citizenship Requirement: Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $115,000
Turium AI is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our Canberra-based team, working closely with government clients and internal product teams. You’ll support the delivery of our AI-driven solutions—Turium Algoreus, Enigma, and Zebra—across a range of public and private sector transformation projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to work at the intersection of technology, product, and people. You’ll help bridge the gap between client needs and product development, contribute to testing and documentation, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Collaborate directly with clients on-site to understand business needs, systems, and operations
* Support stakeholder engagement through interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering
* Document business processes, functional requirements, use cases, and process flows
* Translate business needs into feature specs and user stories for product and engineering teams
* Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
* Assist in product testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and rollout coordination
* Help validate data and outputs using SQL and support troubleshooting when needed
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and ML teams to ensure product alignment
* Contribute to tender responses, proposals, and solution documentation
* Support documentation of ERP-related requirements (e.g. SAP, TechnologyOne, Dynamics)
What You’ll Bring:
* 1–2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in an IT consulting or corporate services environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills—you’re comfortable speaking with users, team leads, and developers
* Basic SQL skills for querying data and supporting analysis tasks
* Familiarity with documenting requirements, use cases, and assisting with testing and UAT
* Exposure to enterprise systems like SAP, TechnologyOne, or Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus
* Interest or experience in supporting proposals, documentation, or solution overviews
