The Centre: This beautiful 100-place service located within Sydney's Hills District is seeking an experienced Centre Director to join their team to help lead and guide a team of dedicated educators. The service is well resourced and renovated with purpose-built indoor and outdoor spaces to enable educators to provide children with high quality learning experiences. The centre follows an inquiry-based approach where children are encouraged to explore and guide their own learning. The service also believes in collaborating with families and the local community to ensure the children are provided with the highest quality education possible.
The Role As Centre Director, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Being responsible for the daily management and administration of the service
Motivating, supporting and working in partnership with the Assistant Director, Educational Leader and all educators, driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational programs to children
Liaising with families during tours and enrollments
Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the EYLF and NQF
Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
Being enthusiastic, positive, productive and conduct oneself in a qualified manner

About You
Diploma or Bachelors of Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved
Minimum 3-5 years prior experience as a Centre Director
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
Current Working with Children Check
Recent Child Protection/Safeguarding training
Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
Unrestricted Australian working rights
