Occupational Therapist Job Opening
In this role, you will work with infants and young children with delays/disabilities and their families. You will conduct assessments and interventions in various settings, including home, school, preschool, early learning settings, and the clinic. Your focus will be on enhancing a child's independence, self-care, play, and social skills.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration or membership with a relevant professional body. They must also hold a current driver's license and be willing to obtain necessary checks. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational skills. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families is highly valued.

Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting assessments and interventions in various settings.
* Providing individualized transdisciplinary early intervention to manage issues impacting learning, behavior, motor, sensory, processing, and developmental milestones.
* Working in partnership with families, mainstream services, and other stakeholders to promote the child's development and participation in their home and community life.
* Selecting, implementing, and monitoring assistive technology and mobility equipment prescription.
Experience in supporting infants and young children with delays/disabilities and their families, adapting home, play, and learning environments, and prescribing and implementing adaptive equipment is highly valued.
