An outstanding prospect is available for enthusiastic and suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialists to join the vibrant and supportive Rehab and Medical/Surgical Wards at a private hospital in Darwin. There are both part-time and full-time positions available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care;
* Providing a high standard of care according to the individual’s level of experience and education while maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment;
* Developing and utilising strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication;
* Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
* Current Registration with AHPRA;
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care;
* Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, manage, and support a team;
* Commitment to ongoing professional development;
* Post Graduate Certificate or working towards.

The hospital, located in Darwin, is a licensed 122-bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
