Kimberley Aged & Community Services (KACS) is offering a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with possibilities for extension or permanency.
Position Profile
We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to coordinate the Community Care Services in the East Kimberley, ensuring appropriate planning, management, and accountability to achieve community‐owned and operated service delivery for frail aged and younger disabled residents in remote Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the Community Care Services in the East Kimberley.
* Ensure appropriate planning, management, and accountability for service delivery.
* Support and develop Community Care Services across the East Kimberley in conjunction with other KACS programs.
* Promote aged‐friendly principles across the East Kimberley.
About WACHS Kimberley
WACHS Kimberley is the northernmost health region of WACHS, serving approximately 200 Aboriginal communities across over 34 language groups, with 45% of the population being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. It manages six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community Directorates, and a Corporate Office, providing a range of health services.
