Customer Service Technician Role
This role involves working as a Customer Service Technician, providing exceptional customer service while performing installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services.
About the Job
This autonomous role requires you to work on customer service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining nbn products and services.
Your typical day may involve any or all of the following functions:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be self-managed and motivated with honesty and integrity.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are experienced in customer service and telecommunications. A background in electrical or communication cabling is also desirable.
The successful candidate will require a current and clean driver's license and strong personable communication skills.
