Warehouse Specialist
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse environment. This includes picking products accurately based on order slips, packing and preparing items securely for shipment, labeling and documenting packages correctly, maintaining an organized warehouse, assisting with stock control, following health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean, safe workspace, operating warehouse equipment (training provided), and working collaboratively with the team to meet order deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking products from shelves or bins to fulfill orders
* Packaging and preparing items securely for shipping
* Labelling and documenting packages correctly
* Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
* Assisting with inventory management and stock control
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
* Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or pick/pack environment is preferred but not essential
* High level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Physically fit with ability to lift and move items continuously
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Basic computer skills with experience in warehouse systems a plus
* Forklift certification is preferred but training can be provided
* Reliable and punctual work ethic
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods
* Must be able to lift 15-20kg regularly
