About the role
We are currently seeking a compassionate and solution focused Veterans Home Care (VHC) Assessor for our Veterans' Home Care team. This position will be responsible for providing high-quality client services through assessment of services to eligible veterans and war widowers, who wish to remain living at home. The Veterans' Home Care team supports thousands of eligible people each year in NSW, ACT and QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of services over the telephone from our Tuggerah office to support our clients who wish to continue living at home and need a small amount of practical help to do so.

About you
* Positive "can do" attitude with a client focus and genuine passion for delivering the best client experience every time;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Must be an Australian Citizen;
* High time management skills;
* Experience in the aged or community care sector for a minimum of two (2) years;
* Experience in using Excel and Microsoft Teams
* Skills in comprehensive assessment and care planning.
* Experience in a similar role;
* Current police check; and working with Children Check
