An opportunity has opened for Casual Security Guards to join our team. We are a well established Security Company on the Gold Coast that has an established clientele with expanding growth. We are seeking experienced, qualified and professional individuals to become an essential members of our team. Border Security will only appoint applicants who display a high caliber of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
Casual Security Guard assignments are to support the safety and security of government facilities, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents in accordance with company security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and patrol government buildings/venues and surrounding areas
* Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
* Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records
* Provide assistance and directions to staff and visitors
* Ensure compliance with company safety and security policies
Required Skills and Experience
* Valid QLD Security Guard Licence
* Valid QLD Drivers licence
* Previous security experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Good observation and reporting skills
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Applicants will need to be physically fit, have basic competency in Mathematics & English and proven ability to communicate in English proficiently. Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and possess great customer service.
Applicants will be assessed on their previous employment history and capability to perform the role. Flexibility with availability for shifts will be an advantage.
Training and immediate start available.
