We are currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join our highly collaborative, award-winning Talent team and help us do this.
**The role**
We are looking for someone who can utilise their strategic and operational HR skills to provide advice and support to employees and the Leadership team. In addition to being the key point of contact for the Sydney office, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver key change initiatives nationally in areas such as performance, engagement, retention and organisational development.
**What you will do**:
**Strategic projects and initiatives**
- Lead and execute on projects to create exceptional employee experiences that are aligned to our growth strategy and changing business priorities.
- Develop and deliver innovative strategic and operational initiatives that support our five key strategic priorities
(1. Managing growth 2. E, D&I 3. Work sustainability 4. Develop market leading Consultants 5. Flexibility)
**Performance**
- Manage the performance and remuneration review process nationally
- Provide advice / support to managers and employees to ensure that reviews are completed within the agreed timelines and key messages effectively delivered
- Identify opportunities and strategies to continually improve our approach
- Work with the Chief Talent Officer and external providers to conduct remuneration benchmark testing
**Talent Acquisition**
**Talent Advisory**
- Act as a key point of contact for all talent team queries in the Sydney office and drive engagement initiatives
- Provide advice and support to the Sydney Partner and Office Head on all people related matters
- Use relevant policies, business rules, awards, procedures, and legislation to provide generalist human resource advise to managers and employees regarding recruitment, performance management, team development, employee relations, benefits, and employee support services, etc.
- Lead generalist Talent operations nationally including identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems that improve the team's productivity
**Other Generalist activities**
- Prepare reports on key talent metrics
- Partner with our global team on initiatives
- Other duties as required
**What you will bring**:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in a HR operations or generalist role (ideally in a professional services environment)
- A relevant degree
- Demonstrated experience
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions in a fast-paced environment
