About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team at Atherton Tablelands Law. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our clients, specialising in a range of family law matters. We are a small regional firm providing general and specialised legal services, and your additional experience/interest in general practice areas will be highly regarded for this role. This full-time position is based in our office in Atherton, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
* Advising clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and other related matters
* Conducting client interviews, gathering and analysing relevant information, and providing clear and practical legal advice
* Preparing and filing court documents, such as applications, affidavits, and submissions
* Representing clients in court proceedings, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and case files
* Collaborating with other legal professionals, such as barristers and experts, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
What we're looking for
* Admitted as a solicitor in Queensland, with a current Practising Certificate
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in family law, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions
* Thorough knowledge of family law legislation, case law, and court procedures
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
* Commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical, and client-focused legal services
