Job Overview
We are seeking a Customer Liaison Specialist to collaborate with customers across various areas, focusing on orders for goods, materials, and services.
* Sales Order Entry: Processing customer purchase orders
* Quotations: Providing internal and external quotes as required
* Export Documentation: Preparing manual export documents when necessary
* Credit Management: Handling customer credits
* Proactive Order Management: Managing customer orders from PO placement to delivery
* Customer Reporting: Creating and maintaining customer-specific reports
* Customer Dossiers: Updating customer information
* New Customer Onboarding: Creating new customers, ship-to, and bill-to addresses
* Communication: Facilitating internal and external communication with customers, plants, and sales teams
* SAP Configuration: Creating SAP material numbers as needed
* Quality Issues: Raising and monitoring customer notifications for quality issues
* Pricelist Maintenance: Managing customer pricelists
* Intercompany Purchase Orders: Raising and managing intercompany purchase orders when required
* Ongoing Responsibilities: Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or customer care
Essential Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and telephone communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Knowledge of manufacturing and transportation logistics processes
