Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$16.00/hr - $16.00/hrResponsibilitiesNotify the Facilities Manager and co-workers regarding any delays with work projects.Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors.Install flooring such as subfloor, VCT tile, and cove base.Remove and dispose of facility garbage.Clean and sanitize restrooms, including urinals, toilets, sinks, and mirrors.Replace light bulbs, lenses, switches, and wall plate covers.Load and unload deliveries and dumpsters.Install or remove window air conditioning units.Clean roofs and drains.Shovel snow, plow, and salt sidewalks, driveways, entrances, and parking lots.Assist lead maintenance workers and co-workers with various tasks.Complete and return paperwork promptly.Operate elevator as needed.Work overtime in emergencies or when necessary.Work in a laundry room with temperatures around 90°F, washing, drying, and folding linen.Collect and distribute linen mop heads throughout the building.Maintain inventory of housekeeping equipment.Communicate openly with staff members.Follow all personnel and program policies of The Salvation Army.QualificationsAbility to routinely lift and carry boxes weighing 50 pounds or more.Ability to use stairs for evacuations, drills, or elevator maintenance.High school diploma or GED required.At least 3 months of maintenance experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustry: Non-profit Organizations
