The Company
Our client is a proudly 100% Australian-owned company with over 55 years of industry experience. They are a leading manufacturer of lubrication systems and mechanical components, and are widely recognised as a trusted solutions provider across the state for road tanker and bulk fuel storage equipment.
You will be involved in, but not limited to:
* Manufacturing, installing, maintaining, and repairing lubrication systems, pump stations, kits, and dispensing equipment
* Installing oil and grease lubrication systems on trucks, machinery, and agricultural equipment
* Welding and fitting new equipment
* Liaising with customers and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time for invoicing
* Assembling kits, repairing damaged stock, and carrying out modifications
* Diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs or modifications to prepare products for sale
To be successful, you will have:
* A recognised metal trade qualification in welding or sheet metal, with proven MIG and ARC welding and fabrication experience working with mild steel (Essential )
* Strong mechanical aptitude – experience with hydraulics or lubrication technology highly regarded (Essential )
* Experience working on-site, including travel to regional towns and remote locations (Essential )
* The ability to follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and successfully pass a basic MIG fillet weld test (Essential )
* A current EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence and valid driver's licence (Essential )
Hours and rates:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 - 3pm (Flexible) with overtime
Up to $45 + vehicle, laptop, phone, company credit card
