Quality Assurance Coordinator
Coordinate and oversee all quality assurance activities for workshop and onsite projects.
Responsibilities:
* Take overall accountability for the quality of workshop jobs
* Inspect jobs in progress within the workshop to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and procedures
* Develop Inspection Test Plans (ITP's) and other Quality Control documents as required
* Perform the disposition and documentation of non-conformances
* Ensure all measurement and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
* Ensure work is performed in accordance with relevant codes, specifications, and customer requirements
Key Capabilities
* Background in Quality Assurance and HSE.
* Experience in mechanical/fabrication industry in addition to experience within the established ISO 9001 quality assurance system is preferable.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to determine compliance
* Effectively use a variety of measuring instruments
* Well developed written and oral communication skills
* Ability to conduct Internal Auditing
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Sound judgement and decision-making capabilities
