The Western Renewables Link is a proposed new 190 kilometre overhead high-voltage electricity transmission line that will carry renewable energy from Bulgana in western Victoria to Sydenham in Melbourne's north-west.
This critical infrastructure will unlock the renewable energy potential of western Victoria as a key Renewable Energy Zone and help deliver clean and affordable energy to all Victorians.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior HR / IR Advisor to support the Human Resources and Industrial Relations function for the Western Renewables Project in Melbourne. This is a pivotal opportunity within a nationally significant infrastructure program that underpins Australia's clean energy future.
As HR & IR Advisor, you will:
* Support the HR and IR strategy for the full lifecycle of the Western Renewables project, from mobilisation through delivery.
* Partner closely with project leaders, contractors, and corporate stakeholders to implement workforce strategies aligned with project timelines and compliance requirements.
* Provide expert guidance on enterprise agreements, union engagement, and industrial relations matters under Victoria's industrial framework.
* Champion a high-performance culture grounded in safety, inclusion, and respect, fostering local employment, skills development, and workforce diversity.
Ideally, You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in senior HR/IR roles within major infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors.
* Proven capability delivering workforce and IR solutions for large-scale projects.
* Deep understanding of Tasmanian and national industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements, and modern awards.
* Experience managing unionised workforces and engaging with multiple stakeholder groups.
* Exposure to remote/regional workforce environments and DIDO/FIFO arrangements.
* Construction White Card (OH&S Induction).
