This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about turning data and process into powerful results.About The RoleAs a key support to our Sales & Business Development Team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, clients and systems. Your days will be varied - from managing our CRM system and preparing sales reports to supporting Account Managers with customer proposals and client meeting preparation.This is more than just a support role - it’s a position that empowers you to contribute to the bigger picture by improving systems, streamlining processes and enhancing the customer experience.What You'll Be DoingSales Coordination & SupportProcess customer orders and coordinate follow-upsMaintain accurate sales and customer recordsAssist in preparing proposals, tenders and client meeting dataProvide internal documentation and reporting, including fortnightly client progress updatesLiaise with production teams and attend sales/client meetingsCRM ManagementOversee CRM data accuracy and user competency (Microsoft Dynamics)Develop CRM reporting and improve system usage through training and awarenessAnalyse and report on budget compliance and sales performanceSupport Account Managers with customer data and communications trackingAdministrationSupport onboarding of new sales team membersArrange domestic and international travelCoordinate meeting notes, sales templates and document version controlManage SharePoint and Sales Portal accessProcess invoices, POs, and requisitionsWhat You Bring2-4 years’ experience in a similar sales support, coordination, or administration roleSolid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)CRM/ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded)Experience in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry is desirableHighly organised with excellent attention to detailA proactive, flexible approach and ability to juggle multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills with the confidence to work independently and collaborativelyWhy Work With Us?At Schlam Payload, people come first.
