Find purpose and impact
As an Administration Officer at Rainbow Cottage, you will make an impact by providing essential administrative and customer service support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Rainbow Cottage Coordinator, you'll manage office functions, maintain records, assist with compliance requirements, and occasionally support childcare activities to meet staff ratio needs. This role combines strong organisational skills with a commitment to high-quality service and teamwork.
You'll make an impact:
* Delivering accurate information and courteous service to internal and external customers.
* Providing high-quality administrative support, including record keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Organising and maintain office systems and documentation in line with Council and legislative standards.
* Working collaboratively within the team and manage delegated tasks independently.
Assisting with childcare duties when required to support staff ratios and children's wellbeing.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in children's services.
* Proven experience in office organisation, record keeping, and cash handling.
* Sound knowledge and practical experience in relevant PC application software.
* Demonstrated administrative and organisational skills along with effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to a high level of customer service.
* Demonstrated knowledge of child development.
We would also love you to have:
* Previous knowledge and experience in administration of Child Care Benefit or Child Care Management System, utilising relevant childcare accounting packages.
Proven knowledge of Childcare Regulations and National Law.

This position offers an attractive hourly rate ranging from $37.10 to $43.11 .
