Civil engineers play a vital role in planning, designing, building, operating and maintaining transport infrastructure. As a graduate civil engineer, you will be responsible for supporting major projects across Queensland, including the Cape York Peninsula Development Road subprogram, Rockhampton Ring Road, Bruce Highway upgrades, Coomera Connector, and Gold Coast Light Rail.

You will assist in delivering the Queensland Transport Infrastructure Program (QTRIP) and managing investments of up to $1.4 billion annually. You will participate in routine maintenance, rehabilitation, and resurfacing programs, as well as support contract management and collaborate with TMR's RoadTek branch on delivery and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting in the delivery of the QTRIP and managing investments of up to $1.4 billion annually

* Contributing to traffic management initiatives, including signal optimization, congestion mitigation, and intelligent transport systems (ITS)
