BMS Project Engineer – SMWX (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia)
Join Schneider Electric as a Small Works (SMWX) Project Engineer in Brisbane.
This role is responsible for engineering and commissioning of SMWX projects – Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring compliance with site and national engineering efficiency program (EEP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer and commission BMS for SMWX projects
Develop and review project design documentation
Collaborate with sales, admin, and service support teams
Adhere to Schneider Electric's Customer Project Process (CPP)
Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders
About you
You are excited about technology, excel in problem solving, and are focused, collaborative, and passionate about delivering results.
In addition, you have:
Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or related discipline
Understanding of building management systems principles with relevant industry experience
Experience with project design documentation
Commissioning of BMS controls in conjunction with HVAC commissioning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of IT network infrastructure and structured cabled systems
Electrical License (full or restricted) desirable
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
Ability to obtain defence clearance (unrestricted working rights)
