**You'll be responsible for**:
- Work closely with a team of Underwriters and Member Service Specialists to source and underwrite profitable new business opportunities.
- Execute effective new business strategies whilst leveraging renewals to further develop relationships with our key business partners.
- Work effectively with the broader Underwriting Team to develop Club Marine's capabilities and foster a collegiate underwriting culture.
- Monitor performance to ensure key financial indicators are achieved, namely GWP, Profit and Pricing control measures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Branch and other Club Marine divisions.
**Important to your success**:
- Knowledge of the Australian insurance market, industry practices and governing legislation.
- Passion or knowledge for Boating
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to both build relationships and influence at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and the ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal which allows exceptional negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Sound data analysis skills which will allow you to understand the portfolio performance and gain insights for improvement
- Motivation to expand, learn and grow within a high performing team
- Available (8:00am - 6:00pm) Monday to Friday
