We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic occupational therapist to join our close-knit team in the beautiful Whitsundays. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of individuals, many of whom have complex needs and are on the autism spectrum.
Our clinic offers a supportive and flexible work environment, with a dedicated resources room full of toys, assessments, and therapy resources. We also offer regular staff meetings, case conferences, and individual supervision sessions, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn new things and think outside the box, as well as excellent communication skills and a community-minded attitude. They will also be able to work independently and closely with our team of therapists, therapy assistants, and administrative staff.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in occupational therapy and membership with the Australian Health Regulation Agency (APHRA), as well as professional indemnity insurance. Hours and wages will be negotiated based on experience and preference.
This role may be eligible for a scholarship or bursary for ongoing professional development through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives.
