Aged Care Coach Position
This role offers a unique opportunity to support and develop the caregiving team through personalized coaching, training, and practical guidance.
You will work closely with caregivers to build their confidence, enhance their skills, and help them navigate the day-to-day challenges of their roles. Your support will play a vital part in improving the quality of care delivered and ensuring a positive experience for both caregivers and clients.
* Provide guidance and support to caregivers to assist them to provide quality care
* Conduct training on client specific requirements and equipment in the client's home
* Track the progress of caregivers, providing feedback and adjustments to ensure quality of care
The ideal candidate will have a background in coaching or training within the aged care sector, or current Caregivers with strong administrative and organizational skills. A valid Australian driver's license, reliable car, and mobile phone are essential for this position.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about aged care and committed to empowering others through meaningful support and guidance. This part-time, permanent position requires travel across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, including dementia, palliative, and end-of-life care
- Skilled in aged care equipment use (e.g., lifting hoists, mobility aids, rehab equipment)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills with a proactive attitude
