We are seeking an experienced cook with a passion for Japanese cuisine to join our culinary team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, creating high-quality dishes for our customers.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of menu items, including sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes, to exacting standards.
Able to work well under pressure, you will maintain high levels of quality and presentation throughout your shift.
This role requires excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Develop innovative food offerings and assist in designing seasonal menus and dishes.
 * Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items, including sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes, in a timely manner.
 * Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
Requirements:
 * Excellent knife skills and ability to expertly cut and fillet.
 * Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
 * Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
 * Relevant diploma in hospitality management and/or commercial cookery.
 * Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
 * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
A passion for Japanese/Asian culinary excellence and creativity is essential.
