The Assistant Restaurant Manager role is a key position in our hospitality team. As the right-hand person to the Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving business success.
* Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and provide trusted guidance and expertise.
* Lead by example, demonstrating energy, clarity, and passion in all aspects of your work.
* Develop and coach staff to improve performance, efficiency, and teamwork.
* Provide top-tier customer service, focusing on consistent quality and satisfaction.
* Manage employee schedules and rosters, ensuring effective resource allocation.
* Contribute to achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting financial performance.
* Maintain high standards of Food Safety, cleanliness, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will require:
* Proven experience in leading teams in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setting.
* A calm, confident leadership style that inspires trust and respect.
* A passion for food, people, and great service.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to uplift and motivate others.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A completed or willing-to-complete Food Safety Supervisor certification.
