Enjoy the freedom to work independently – with structure, support, and leadership behind you.
This is your chance to step into a unique role where you’ll take ownership of your day-to-day work but still be backed by a supportive leadership team and proven systems. Do your friends describe you as practical, friendly, and outgoing? And do they often go to you for advice? If so, your dream job could be with us! We're looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team Full Time and lead the charge in our newest territory – Tweed Heads.
What’s the role?
️ You’ll be based in our Tweed Heads office, working largely on your own – but you’ll be part of a wider network across the region. While you’ll have the space to manage your own schedule and customer relationships, you’re never truly on your own. There’s always someone to call for support, guidance, and collaboration. This isn’t a “be your own boss” job — but it’s the kind of role where you’ll be trusted to manage your own time and results, while still following a clear process and contributing to a team.
At Fair Dinkum Builds Tweed Valley Sheds, we aim to deliver the ultimate end to end solution for customers looking to purchase many types of steel structures including carports, residential and commercial sheds.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to look past the steel structure of a shed/garage and realise the value it adds to people’s lives. You will look past the basic sales questions of “what colour/how many doors?” and understand what your client is going to use it for and design something that truly meets their needs. The humble shed or garage is so much more these days and could be a hobby space, a home office, gym, equine facility - the possibilities are endless.
Independence in your daily work, without the pressure of running your own business
Work with proven systems, full training, and ongoing leadership support
A growing company expanding into a brand-new area
The chance to take real ownership of your territory and results
Be part of a trusted brand with 25+ years in the industry
What does a typical day look like?
Every day is different, but here’s what you can expect:

Connect with customers via phone, email, or virtual meetings to discuss their shed, garage, or carport needs.
Design and quote using specialised design software, aligned with the customer needs and budgets with full training provided.
Visit local sites to meet customers, check access, measure, and better understand their project goals, servicing from Tweed Heads to Murwillumbah areas.
Coordinate with head office and support team to manage applications, approvals, and handovers, using a comprehensive proved system from quote to build.
End the day knowing you've helped someone move one step closer to their dream build – and that you’re building something great for yourself too.

A self-motivated go-getter who thrives working independently
