Build your career and Australias future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australias future. With us you'll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus there's equal employment, great training and true flexible working arrangements.
About the Role
As the Advisor Government Relations you will play a pivotal role in supporting nbn's efforts to identify and action opportunities for regulatory and legislative reform. This will position the organisation as a sustainable commercial enterprise. You will prepare strategic briefings, monitor legislative developments and provide high‐quality advice to inform policy formulation and implementation. You will coordinate inputs across internal teams, manage deadlines and ensure leaders are well‐prepared for external engagements, keeping government engagement timely, consistent and aligned with nbn's regulatory priorities.
About You
You are a confident and collaborative communicator with a background in government relations, public policy or ministerial environments. You bring strong stakeholder engagement skills and are comfortable partnering across diverse internal teams to deliver outcomes that matter. Your ability to think critically, identify opportunities and translate complex information into clear, well‐written briefs makes you a trusted advisor. You thrive in fast‐paced environments, are motivated by purpose and impact, and possess a proactive mindset and strong organisational skills. Your background in Telco or other regulated industries will be an asset, and your adaptability and commitment to excellence will set you up for success in the role.
