Position Information

Ulladulla High School is a large co-educational, rural coastal community school on the South Coast of NSW, with an enrolment of 1,152 students. The school draws from a wide geographic area, spanning from Bawley Point in the south to Manyana in the north, and reflects the diversity and character of its broader community.

The school benefits from a strong and supportive community, alongside a dedicated executive, teaching and administrative team who both live and work locally. Ulladulla High School is proudly representative of the Ulladulla community and its surrounding areas, fostering a deep sense of connection and belonging.

The senior executive and teaching staff prioritise innovative, evidence-informed pedagogy, with a explicit focus on preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. There is a strong emphasis on developing future-focused learners equipped with the skills and capabilities needed for successful post-school pathways.

The school has a significant Aboriginal student population (10.5 %, approximately 121 students) and places high value on recognising and celebrating cultural heritage. A strong partnership with the local AECG underpins ongoing collaboration to support the educational success and cultural identity of all First Nations students across the Ulladulla and Milton communities.

Student voice and leadership are key strengths of the school. This is reflected in a highly effective leadership framework that includes the Student Representative Council, Student Environment Council, and a comprehensive student wellbeing system.
