Overview
Engineering Manager (BE / Full Stack) - Admin Experience Group (ANZ remote)
Responsibilities
- Leading and coaching a motivated full stack team of 5–8 engineers
- Owning the breakdown and delivery of large, impactful projects
- Mentoring engineers on technical approaches and career growth
- Building out long-term technical strategy for Settings product capabilities
- Managing operational health of services – including on-call as part of a team rotation
- Collaborating cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, and non-technical stakeholders
- Championing a culture of feedback, inclusive collaboration, and continual improvement
Qualifications (You’re probably a match if)
- You’ve led high-performing software engineering teams before
- You bring a healthy blend of technical depth, delivery leadership, and people development
- Technical hands on experience in our tech stack - Java for the backend and Javascript/Typescript/React on the frontend. A blend of these would be ideal.
- You have strong customer empathy and experience building user-centric products
- You thrive in cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders
- You lead by example and foster psychological safety and open communication
