Our business is a well established, family owned building company that commenced with GJ Gardner Homes in 2010 and has grown to have offices in Shoalhaven, Wollongong, Wilton‑Appin and now in the Southern Highlands. With a strong focus on build quality and customer service and a brand backing that has been established for over 40 years, we are currently seeking the services of an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team full‑time at our South Nowra office.

The position is responsible for processing the end‑to‑end accounts administration function which includes but is not limited to:

* Processing of all Accounts Payable invoices
* Processing of Client Progress Claims
* Processing of bank account and credit card reconciliations
* Maintenance of Subcontractor WHS compliance
* Other general accounts duties and ad‑hoc work as directed by the Accounts team by the way of your fellow Senior Accounts/Payroll Administrator and Head of Finance.

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate

* A minimum of Certificate III in Financial Services or 3+ years of equivalent experience is required.
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite software programs.
* A minimum of 2 years experience with either Xero or MYOB accounting software is required.
* The capacity to make independent decisions and work under pressure and without supervision.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, effective communication and problem‑solving skills with proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
* Professional attitude, outgoing and friendly personality.
* Self‑motivated, with a desire to achieve great results and be part of a High Growth Business.
* Experience in the Building and Construction Industry or the Real Estate Industry would be advantageous.

Essential

* Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar accounts administrator role.
* A 'Can Do' attitude.

To be successful you will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with proven experience working in a full‑function accounts payable role. You will also have an intermediate knowledge of the Google Suite and have the ability and willingness to learn new software packages.

This role will suit an individual that is keen to get involved in all aspects of a small company and is a great team player.
