As we continue to grow our Townsville office, we’re seeking an experienced Civil Designer to contribute to a broad project portfolio including subdivisions, car parks, high-rises, schools, commercial mixed-use sites, industrial sites, and sporting facilities.

About the role
As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality civil designs and documentation across a range of development projects. You’ll work collaboratively with engineers and other disciplines to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective design outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
* Create conceptual and detailed civil designs using 12D Model and AutoCAD
* Prepare design documentation in line with project timelines and quality standards
* Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (e.g. surveyors, hydraulic engineers)
* Conduct site inspections and incorporate findings into your designs
* Contribute to feasibility studies, design reports, and cost estimates
* Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and Australian Standards
* Monitor construction works where required to ensure design intent is maintained
* Support the team to deliver work to schedule, quality, and budget expectations
About you
We are looking for a detail-driven and collaborative designer with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will have:
* A minimum five years’ demonstrated design/drafting experience, ideally in civil consulting
* An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Solid knowledge of design software including 12D Model and AutoCAD
* Knowledge of local and statutory requirements, legislation, and Australian Standards
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Unrestricted work rights for Australia
