Lead Payroll Operations
The role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll delivery, including pay run execution, reconciliation, superannuation, and authorised deductions. You will oversee the Payroll Services team and maintain the PeopleSoft HCM system, providing high-quality advice to internal clients and collaborating with external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
* At least six years' experience in senior payroll roles within large, complex organisations.
* Proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes and resolve complex discrepancies.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering excellence and accountability.
* High-level expertise in interpreting employment legislation, industrial awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Advanced proficiency with Human Capital Management Systems (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM), data integrity, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the University's payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant delivery of the fortnightly payroll.
* Oversee the Payroll Services team, maintaining the PeopleSoft HCM system, and acting as the primary advisor on payroll compliance and strategic implications.
* Resolve complex payroll issues, leading audits and risk assessments, and providing high-quality advice to internal clients.
* Collaborate with external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in payroll processes and controls.
* Contribute to University-wide projects and policy reviews to enhance payroll efficiency and service quality.
