About the role
The Hearing Aid Clinic is seeking a Fully Qualified Audiometrist or Audiologist to join our team in Camden and/or Narellan. You will play a vital role in assessing and treating hearing loss, helping our clients improve their quality of life through the provision of exceptional hearing care services.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, speech testing, and tympanometry
* Selecting and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices based on each client's individual needs
* Providing education and counselling to clients on the use and care of their hearing devices
* Performing hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
* Maintaining detailed client records and reporting on clinical outcomes
What we're looking for
* Formal Australian qualifications in Audiometry or Audiology with full registration and QP number
* Experience in audiometric testing, hearing aid fitting, and hearing rehabilitation
* A minimum of 1-2 years experience in audiometric testing and hearing aid fitting is required
* Strong clinical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide tailored solutions for each client
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach
* Familiarity with the latest hearing aid technologies and industry regulations
* A commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
* Australian work rights are required for this position
