Maternity Care Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Maternity Care Specialist to join our team at Southern NSW Local Health District. As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality maternity care to women and their families in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with other clinicians to achieve excellent patient outcomes and support less experienced staff members in achieving quality care.
* Demonstrate strong competencies and knowledge in caring for women and babies, particularly in complex situations.
* Apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to deliver individualized care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including proficiency in using technology to communicate effectively.
* Recent clinical experience relevant to the role, demonstrating participation in ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competence.
* Australian Work Rights: Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a valid temporary visa that allows them to live and work in Australia independently.
