Are you an experienced Business Analyst ready to lead meaningful digital transformation? We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania, a critical role requiring a deep understanding of business process improvement and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, a minimum of three days per week onsite in our Hobart office is required. This requirement is essential and not negotiable.
SRA is a specialist software development company with a national footprint and clients including state and federal governments as well as large enterprises. We design, develop and operationally support bespoke mission-critical solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and analyse business requirements and processes to identify improvements
* Document functional specifications and user stories for development teams
* Lead stakeholder workshops, interviews and feedback sessions
* Collaborate across business, technical and delivery teams to align goals
* Provide mentorship to junior analysts and champion continuous improvement
* Work in line with SDLC, Agile practices and our internal delivery methodology
What we're looking for:
* Approximately 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in software consulting, with demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and engage diverse stakeholders
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
* Experience with business process modelling, gap analysis, and functional design
* Strong capability in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and data visualisation platforms
* SFIA Level 4 aligned skills and behaviours, with a proactive and adaptable mindset
* Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies
Relevant tertiary qualification and business analysis certification (eg IIBA ECBA or similar) will be highly regarded.
