**Position Information**:
Normanhurst Boys High School with an enrolment of 750 students is a high performing academically selective high school with approximately 85% of students from a language background other than English. There are three classes in the autism support unit. The school has an exceptional wellbeing program that enables students to be known valued and cared for. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Personal Development, Health & Physical Education 7 - 12 and English 7 - 12. Approved and / or willingness to teach English Extension 1 and English Extension 2.
Proven capacity to develop and implement engaging and differentiated teaching and learning programs that cater to the learning needs of high potential and gifted students.
Successful teaching experience and evidence of explicit teaching practice, feedback and formative assessment, with proven ability to achieve improvements in student learning.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with the school community, to actively contribute to whole school and faculty programs and initiatives.
