About You
We are looking for someone who can work well in a church community that loves Jesus and is passionate about administration to help facilitate the growth of God's Kingdom in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart.
In the position of Office Administrator, You will need to interact closely with the Network Ministry Team and where appropriate members of each of the Network Sites to assist with the coordination of Ministry Operations. This position works closely with the Senior Network Minister and directly reports to them.
The Network Administration Position is an exciting position that fulfils one of the core needs in the Edge Anglican Network, mainly to have an efficiently managed administration hub that enables ministry to be resourced effectively. It is hoped that this position will help to fulfil the mission of the Edge Anglican Network by providing strong administrative support that is underpinned by our desire to be People bringing People to Jesus.
Essential Criteria and Experience:
Be willing to work within the Christian ethos of the Edge Anglican Network.
Experience working in church administration.
Ability to use Church Management Software (El Vanto).
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Ability to use MYOB
Experience with Canva or other Graphic Design software
Ability to take minutes
Capacity to engage well with congregation members
A willingness to learn
An ability to think strategically in line with our Network's Mission Action Plan.
An ability to maintain confidentiality.
Some evening hours may be required in this role, (normally 4 hours a month).
We are a parish network of Anglican churches in southern Tasmania. Edge Anglican Claremont and St Matthew's New Norfolk have been partnering together in ministry since **** and formally amalgamated as the Edge Anglican Network in ****.
Edge Anglican Network, in keeping with the wider Tasmanian Anglican Diocesan vision, seeks to be a church for Tasmaniamaking disciples of Jesus .
