Compassionate Care Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate care assistant to provide daily personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
This role involves delivering holistic care, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for our elderly residents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience in aged care, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude. They will be required to work collaboratively with other care team members to ensure high-quality care is delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing daily personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
* Observing residents' conditions and reporting any concerns
* Encouraging residents to make their own decisions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification, have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar field, and be fully vaccinated as required by federal and state regulations.
